A baby died in Niel, in a Flemish nursery this Monday, reports The last news and confirms the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office. The child did not wake up following a nap and was immediately transferred to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation has been opened to determine the reasons for his death. There is currently no indication of foul play.
