The fire killed A, a 7-year-old elementary school student living on the second floor of an apartment building. As the flames soared at the time of the fire, residents of the apartment building were also evacuated urgently. Ten of them suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital.
The apartment that caught fire has 60 households with a total floor area of 6,200 square meters on the 15th floor. At the time of the fire, the alarm system and indoor fire hydrants were known to be operating normally.
