A family tragedy recently occurred in Taiping Province, Vietnam. A 41-year-old man, Vu Dinh (transliteration), killed his 3-month-old daughter due to debt problems and hanged himself following leaving a suicide note saying “I don’t want to be a burden to my wife.” When his wife came home and was shocked to see their bodies and suicide notes, she collapsed instantly.

According to the “docnhanh” report, when Wu Ding’s wife came home from the market at 7 a.m. on the 3rd, she saw her husband and daughter with cloth ropes wrapped around their necks, and they were both obviously dead. After the on-site inspection and autopsy, the prosecutors concluded that Wu Ding strangled his 3-month-old daughter and then hanged himself with the same cloth rope. In addition, the suicide note left at the scene was “I want to take my daughter with me and don’t want to be a burden to my wife.” And there were no signs of external force on the remains, ruling out that the two were murdered.

It is understood that Wu Ding had a previous marriage before marrying his current wife. Although he had just married his current wife and enjoyed the happiness and peace brought by his new marriage and had no signs of physical or mental illness, he was suspected of being overwhelmed by heavy debts. . At present, the remains of Wu Ding and his daughter have been returned to his family for funeral arrangements.
