Tragic Discovery: Abandoned Site in Wanze Unveils Inanimate Person

This Saturday, around noon, a passerby made a terrible discovery when entering the Gonthier site to look for his pet. He found an inanimate person.

The Meuse-Hesbaye police zone, contacted at 12:07 p.m., went directly to the scene. A 45-year-old man of no fixed address died. According to local police, the causes of death are not linked to the intervention of a third party. “He died of hypothermia,” we are told.

The public prosecutor’s office was notified but did not go to the site, nor the forensic doctor, following the findings of the SMUR. “Death is indeed natural. »

The acting mayor of Wanze, Bernard Lhonnay, was warned of this terrible news. “It’s dramatic,” he breathes. The man born in 1977 would be well known to the CPAS services in the region.

The developer has resubmitted a preliminary project, “which we are currently examining,” concludes the acting mayor.
