The Iliad Group announced Tuesday afternoon the disappearance of its financial director Nicolas Jaeger who also held the position of deputy general manager.
Iliad’s financial director Nicolas Jaeger died suddenly Monday evening at the age of 45. The telecoms group announced the disappearance of the man who was unfortunately deputy general manager Tuesday afternoon in a brief press release.
“It was in all things, a force that goes, which devoured life and which shook up everything in its path with its energy and its creativity, always with kindness and righteousness”, recalled Xavier Niel, president of the board of directors of ‘Iliad and the group’s general director Thomas Reynaud.
“He was one of the great architects of the development of the Iliad Group, particularly internationally,” underlines the press release.
The young manager had worked for more than fifteen years within the Iliad group, which he joined in 2007 as head of investor relations. In 2011, he was appointed treasurer of the company before becoming its financial director in 2018. Nicolas Jaeger held the position of deputy general manager since 2021 and was also a member of the board of directors of Millicom, TRM, d ‘IFT and Play in Poland.
