The El Colombiano portal reported that Bonilla Ulloa would have been “murdered” on October 16 “in the middle of a massacre perpetrated in Caloto, Cauca,” explains the article, where it is reported that other bodies were also found at the site.

According to El Tiempo, the murder took place in the Huasano area “from where the bodies were moved in a private car to the San Luis farm.” The discovery occurred in the municipality of Popayán.

On the followingnoon of October 24, the 41-year-old actress spoke through tears regarding the difficult time her family is going through.

“A few days ago we found out regarding the death of my children’s father, Héctor Fabian Bonilla Ulloa. The actress was clear when asking for respect from the media and stressed that she is not interested in revenge nor will she fall into any type of extortion.

“I ask that you please respect my right to privacy for my children, I do not wish to speak to any media regarding this, it is a very great pain because my children have been left without a father.”
