Step.- The El Paso Uber driver who was shot in the head Friday followingnoon by a Kentucky woman, who thought he was going to kidnap her to Mexico, died this Wednesday, following his relatives decided to disconnect him from assisted living.

His attacker, 48-year-old Phoebe Copas, now faces murder charges, when they were originally charged with aggravated assault. Her bail was set at $1.5 million.

Daniel Piedra Garcia, 52, was attacked by Copas on US 54, near Loop 375, near the ‘Libre’ bridge.
