Saint-Louis, June 23 (APS) – A final year student at Charles de Gaulle high school in Saint-Louis (north) died of a heart attack on Thursday while on his way to school, learned the APS of the managers of his establishment.
The body of the teenager was transported to the regional hospital of Saint-Louis by the firefighters. The necessary arrangements have been made for his burial, the same source said.
The victim had been dragging heart rhythm abnormalities since primary school which led him to undergo three surgeries, according to the headmaster of the Charles de Gaulle high school, who relies on testimonies from the family of the deceased, described as “a good student” by those around him.
The death of this student comes in full preparation for the Baccalaureate exam scheduled in less than two weeks.
