This is a video taken by a user who experienced the bungee jumping device at Starfield Sports Facility in Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
A safety guard wearing orange clothing stands behind the user on the jumping platform.
When the user lands safely on the floor, another agent below approaches and unties the rope.
At the time of the accident, there were two safety personnel deployed, one above and one below.

″The employee above is in charge of fastening the equipment and guiding you through the drop.″
However, the agent assigned to the jump pad was a part-time worker in his 20s who had only been working for a month.
The police booked this agent without detention on charges of professional manslaughter.
This is because, as a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that the ceiling rope loop was not fastened to the safety device worn by the deceased woman from the beginning.
The rope serves to hold the user who jumps off the jumping platform so that they do not fall to the ground.
At the entrance to the facility where the accident occurred, a sign is posted stating that the store will be closed for the time being for inspection and education.
This sports experience facility is located not only in Anseong, but also in Hanam, Goyang, and Suwon Starfield. It is a rental store located in Starfield, owned by Shinsegae Property.
The company’s position is that there are no regulations related to employment type.

″So, there are no regulations on employment type. Everyone receives the same education anyway… ″
Police are also planning to look into whether this accident constitutes a major civil disaster.

″In order to operate the facility safely, I think we need to confirm what measures the business owner has taken and to what extent there is a system to check related training and such.″
Shinsegae Property said, “We feel sorry and devastated for the victims and their bereaved families,” and said, “We will seek all possible measures to help the bereaved families recover from their psychological and physical pain as soon as possible.”
