A video has appeared of a sparring session in Pervouralsk, following which a 14-year-old student of the TsRDM boxing section died. Footage of the competition, which was the last for the young athlete, was published in the telegram channel “Lyutikov / MMA, UFC, Russian sport”.
Judging by the video, the boy became ill following a series of blows from his opponent, some of them in the liver area. Right in the ring, the teenager first staggered and then fell.
The doctor on duty at the competition immediately provided first aid to the young boxer. The arriving ambulance team also tried to save the child, but the boy died. The Sverdlovsk department of the Investigative Committee has not yet commented on what happened.
