One dead and seven injured left an accident on the La Mesa – Bogotá road, exactly at kilometer 104 of the Mosquera road to La Mesa. A bus collided with a private car. “The sudden departure to eternity of Dr. Martha Liliana González Gil and her son Jerónimo Cano González hurts us. We embrace his family with our prayers, uniting ourselves in a spiritual chain, asking for comfort and faith for his loved ones,” said the municipal administration of Chía, Cundinamarca.
According to the first versions of the accident on the Bogotá – La Mesa highway, a tractor-trailer suffered an apparent mechanical failure and carried off two private trucks a couple of kilometers from the entrance to the municipality of San Antonio del Tequendama.
