A 57-year-old Breton decided late Monday morning to bury his own horse, which had been dead for a few days. The man transported the body of the animal with a backhoe to his land.
For some unknown reason, the animal’s corpse fell on the poor man and became trapped under the beast’s weight. The 50-year-old died with his rib cage compressed.
