A tragedy occurred this Tuesday morning around 11:20 a.m. in Mont-sur-Marchienne (in the province of Hainaut). A child, aged 5 and a half, lost his life following falling from the 5th floor of a building in rue Champ de Gernevaux. The circumstances of the death have not yet been communicated.
“When the emergency services arrived, a cardiac massage was carried out, but it was too late”, says a local to our microphone. “The mother felt a little unwell, so she was taken care of and taken to the ambulance. The child fell from the 5th floor. There was no protection. It’s sad. Having children, you can imagine the pain.”
