A truck loaded with bags of cement sparked a tragic accident this afternoon in Antofagasta, impacting seven vehicles and leaving three people dead, as well as two injured.
A tragic accident occurred this afternoon at the intersection of Radomiro Tomic Avenue and Irarrazabal where a truck was loading bags of cement. A crazy race began from Avenida los Leones down Irrarazabal, impacting 7 vehicles in its path, leaving 3 dead and two injured to varying degrees. The driver of the older vehicle is without serious injuries and is transported by police.
Firefighters, Samu and Carabineros who are in charge of the emergency went to the scene of the accident while waiting for the SIAT to investigate the events that occurred at the scene.
