Idaho County (USA) – Tragic accident in the US state of Idaho: A 17-year-old novice driver fell asleep at the wheel of her car, killing her family.

They wanted to visit their terminally ill father and grandfather in the hospice when fate struck mercilessly with all its harshness. Calvin Miller († 36) and his children Dakota († 17), Jack († 10) and Delilah († 8) died in a tragic accident on the way there.
According to media reports, last weekend they made their way from their native Spokane in Washington State to Council in Idaho, around 440 kilometers away.
However, they never got there: When they had covered around three quarters of their distance, the 17-year-old who was driving suddenly fell asleep, reported the New York Post and relied on information from the police.

The family’s car is said to have crashed into a pile of rocks near the small town of Riggins and eventually lifted off the ground. It flipped and landed headfirst in the Salmon River.
A fisherman is said to have discovered the car. The police assume that all four family members drowned.

Two families now have to say goodbye to loved ones after this tragic event. Calvin’s ex-wife Zella Blair mourns her two sweethearts Jack and Delilah, but also the man and his daughter from a previous relationship.
She learned about the tragedy that would change her life forever from Calvin’s new partner, Amberlynn. The two women now share a fate.
Blair tried to put her grief into words on Facebook. “You will live in my heart forever and every day, my sweet babies. (…) One day I will hold you both in my arms again.”
