According to OBS reports, on the morning of Saturday, August 31, 2024, personnel of the operational department of the Central Office for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking (Ocrtis) landed on Ngor Beach, precisely at the “Madrague” hotel.

At this reception, the minions of Commissioner Nian, Octis‘ new strongman, are tasked with spying on an influential boss of the hard-bitten mafia operating in and around Ngor.

Undercover agents have been monitoring a drug dealer’s every move for weeks and managed to covertly monitor him supplying drugs, heroin and ecstasy at Ngor Beach and Esplanade West.

On this day, the police force, led by the head of the Octis Operations Unit, huddled in a hidden corner of the aforementioned hotel where the target worked. As if by magic, the hotel just parted ways with A AK today due to its accumulated violations of the rules of hospitality conduct.

Carrying a backpack, AAK, 52, walked to his car in the hotel parking lot, where his old friend and assistant was waiting for him. Seeing AAK and his companions preparing to clear the house, plainclothes police intervened and surrounded his vehicle.

In order to eradicate AA Kane and SB who are still in the hands of the police, the drug dealers will use all means to oppose the bosses’ boarding. Faced with the increasingly obvious threat from the attacker, the police chief drew his pistol and fired two warning shots.

Instead of taking action, the drug dealers physically assaulted the police, who chose to contain the attackers without opening fire in order to avoid a massacre. During the attack, an agent lost his usual weapon with a loaded cartridge.

K. Ngor picked up the pistol and brandished it. At the same time, a bullet fired from the pistol hit a police officer who was helping a colleague in the lower left leg.

Beeps for reinforcements

As police struggled to contain the attackers’ fury and ensure the safety of the two arrested persons, another group of youths arrived at the scene to lend a helping hand to KN and his gang.

Faced with this complex new situation, the Oktis police faced a difficult choice: shoot the attacker, protect the two “packages” at the same time, and make a strategic retreat without leaking the information. On impulse, Officer Oktis chose a strategic retreat and took the two arrestees to a hotel.

Firefighters on duty near Ngor Beach immediately evacuated the injured officer to the main hospital. In order to restore public order as soon as possible, the police requested reinforcements from the Multipurpose Intervention Brigade (Bip) and the Rapid Intervention Group (Gri).

The quick deployment of these elite police forces brought the situation under control, resulting in the arrest of four (4) attackers, including KN. According to the instructions of the prosecutor, Kh. Ngor and his gang were handed over to the gendarmerie for “conspiracy to traffic drugs, obstructing the police in the performance of their duties, inciting violence against the police and confiscating military weapons used by the police in the performance of their duties.”
