It should have been a party, a fun time. But it turned into a tragedy. This Sunday followingnoon, around 3 p.m., an incident occurred at the fair in La Hestre, in the entity of Manage. While in operation, the “Rock’n’Roll” attraction experienced an anomaly. The restraint bar then opened, freeing seven of the people on board.

”The attraction has moved to safety. Seven people fell while occupying one of the seats”, confirms Bruno Pozzoni, mayor of Manage. “One of the cases is more serious. Two other cases deserve particular attention. The other people are less seriously injured but are still injured. There is however, and fortunately, no death to deplore”, he specifies once more, cutting short some rumors.
“Everyone is aware. The victims are taken care of by the SMUR. Local police are also on the scene. They will be dispatched to three different hospitals, namely Tivoli, Jolimont and Mons. On the spot shortly following the events, the mayor tried to manage the situation as well as possible. Many witnesses witnessed the fact and are also shocked.
A security perimeter was established and the medical plan launched.
