The Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences reported that to date it has received 35 fatal victims of the tragedy that occurred this weekend on the Quibdó – Medellín highway. Forensic Medicine also reported that technical and scientific work is still continuing to identify all the victims.
“From the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences we join the voices of solidarity and accompany the families in this moment of deep pain,” the entity indicated in a statement.
Meanwhile, relief agencies and authorities continue the work of removing earth and searching for those missing following the collapse.
