Vallenato is in mourning once once more due to a road accident, this time in the north of Antioquia, where a bus and two people died who worked with a musical group.
According to preliminary information, members and employees of the musical ensemble of Natalia Curvelo, a vallenata singer native of Barranquilla.
The incident was recorded minutes before midnight this Friday, October 7, at kilometer 21 + 860 of the Hatillo – Cisneros road. According to the initial traffic report, the bus suffered a side rolland the impact left two passengers dead and five injured.
Natalia Curvelo herself warned his followers of what happened on social networks, with two distressing messages: “My boys have just had an accident, I ask a lot for everyone to be fine. My God, what great anguish ”, was one of his publications, followed by“ Nobody gives me an account of my little brother, please tell me he is fine. I am heading towards the scene of the events, it has been the longest trip of my life”.
Although the authorities have not officially provided the identity of the victims, apparently one of the deceased is Alfredo Curvelo, the singer’s brother.
At the moment it is unknown what were the causes of the overturning of the bus.
Other artists of the same musical genre have lost their lives in road accidents. On August 13, on a highway in Boyacá, he had an accident the interpreter Iván José Mindiola; due to the seriousness of the injuries he died three weeks later in a hospital.
Other remembered cases are those of the singers Kaleth Morales, who died on August 23, 2005 on the Cartagena – Valledupar road; Y Martin Elias Diazwho died on a highway in Sucre, on April 14, 2017.
