For its part, the Querétaro State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) indicated that the investigation folder CI/QRO/6605/2022 was opened, through which it will seek to find those allegedly responsible for the following crimes: “attempted homicide”, “violence in sports events”, “possible apology for crime”, “criminal association” and “crimes committed by public servants”.

On the other hand, on Sunday, March 6, Secretary Murguía had indicated that it was too early to make “speculations” regarding whether there were alleged members of organized crime in the bars, who possibly had participated in the brawl on Saturday, March 5.

However, this Monday, March 7, the governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro, commented that what happened at the Corregidora Stadium “was not a normal fight between batons”but it gave the impression that there might be “other things behind”although he did not assure that it was an ambush.
