The evening organized under a marquee in Péronnes-les-Antoing turned into a tragedy on the night of July 14 to 15, when a man was beaten with a hammer by a gang of Hells Angels bikers and other individuals. According to our information, this man’s name is Kenny K, he is a member of the Bandidos and he is from the Green Country.

An individual, who accompanied him that night, passed under the wheels of a car. Jacques Dubart has died.

In this case being investigated, around ten individuals were arrested and questioned by the police. It is confirmed that the attack took place as part of a dispute between two well-known biker groups, the Bandidos and the Hell’s Angels.

Preventive dentention

At least two Hells are still in pre-trial detention and charged with murder and attempted murder. They were released by the Mons Council Chamber, but the prosecution appealed. The indictment chamber confirmed their preventive detention.

We tried to find out more from their lawyers, to no avail. The investigation being secret, little information filters around this delicate matter. However, a question arises. Why be so angry with a man, to the point of hitting him with a hammer?

First clue, hitting with a hammer would be the hallmark of the Hells Angels. Several attacks of this type have been reported in Belgian and French newspapers in recent years. There were also several in Tournai when the two rival gangs crossed paths on the Grand-Place.

Second clue. According to our information, the man beaten with a hammer that night was called Kenny K. Several sources confirmed to us that it was this man, a Bandido member of the Charleroi chapter but who is originally from the Pays Green. His name is known to the courts. He had notably been involved in drug trafficking a few years ago.

Scuffled in Mons

A rumor is circulating according to which Kenny threatened several bikers before the brawl in Péronnes. It has been denied by several sources. However, there was reportedly a scuffle between Bandidos and Hells Angels at a motorcycle dealership in Mons a few days before the incident. This would have ignited the powder between the two rival gangs. It seems that Kenny was not present.

On the evening of July 14, members of the Hells Angels celebrated the birthday of one of them at their premises in Leuze-en-Hainaut. During the evening, two of them would have liked to continue the party in a bar in Tournai, in the company of a member of the Wanderers, another group of bikers allied to the Hells. The latter would have been informed of the presence of a Bandido at the Péronnes marquee.

A police officer and a DJ in prison

This member of the Bandidos is Kenny. They went there and hammers were provided to them. According to rumor, a police officer from the Tournaisis police zone, and close to the Hells, provided them with weapons and a place to hide following the brawl. This information has not been confirmed but the police officer is still in preventive detention.

The genetic fingerprint of a DJ known in the Tournai region was found on these weapons, which explains why Christophe Vanderzippe, alias DJ Vdzik, was placed in preventive detention ten days before Christmas.

The instruction continues. If the charge of murder and attempted murder, the case will be judged at the assizes.

In this case, a man died. Jacques Dubart was not a member of a biker group…
