There is a second building at risk of collapsing on Avenida Comandante Valódia, where early Saturday morning building 41 was brought down, due to its advanced state of degradation, as shown in images of the scene.
The risk of collapse was advanced a moment ago by the body of the National Civil Protection and Fire Service (SNPCB), which alerted the population of the area.
The SNPCB directed, at 9 am this Saturday, the residents of the surrounding buildings to immediately remove the vehicles parked around the buildings in that area of Luanda.
On site, in addition to the National Service of Civil Protection and Firefighters, removing the rubble, is also the Governor of the Province, Manuel Homem and the Municipal Administrator of Luanda, Milca Caquesse, accompanying the works.
