Makkah: One death due to heavy rains and winds and subsequent floods in Makkah last day. A native teacher died following his car was washed away. Mohammad Al Tawaim, a teacher at Mina Elementary School, died.

Riyadh: A Malayali died in Riyadh when a wall collapsed while he was working. Shamsannoor (57), a native of Ayirur, Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, died.

He is the son of late Mohammad Rasheed and Suharabivi couple. Wife: Rasheeda. He had been working in the construction sector in Mursalat, Riyadh for 15 years. While demolishing the wall, a part of it fell off and while trying to escape, Shamsannoor fell into another wall and was admitted to the nearby clinic.

Realizing that there were serious injuries to the internal organs, the doctor immediately advised him to go to the hospital for specialist treatment. Then he reached Al Obaid Hospital and while explaining the matter to the doctor, he became unconscious and was transferred to the ventilator. Death soon followed.
