Update 10:00 a.m : The SPW advises motorists who have to pass through or reach Brussels to take the E42 towards Tournai then the E429 towards Brussels

Update 9h50 : in the queues an accident involving 1 car stuck between 2 trucks occurred near Mons; the roadway is partially obstructed with +2h00 towards Brussels

An accident occurred on the E19 motorway coming from Mons to join the Houdeng interchange in the direction of Brussels or towards the E42 in the direction of Namur at the height of Obourg, the central and right lanes are neutralized around the km 50. Traffic is almost at a standstill for more than 8 km with queues going up from Mons with 1 hour lost towards Brussels.
