On February 14, asphalting of new spans was completed on the Crimean Bridge.
– Today, experts laid the top layer of crushed-stone-mastic asphalt concrete. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the press service of Rosavtodor reports.
The department clarified that the restoration work on the Crimean bridge is almost completed. In the next two weeks, damaged engineering systems will be repaired here, a barrier will be installed and thermoplastic markings will be applied.
“The movement of passenger cars and buses on the left side of the Crimean bridge will be open until the end of February,” added the Rosavtodor.
Recall that the movement of cars on the right side of the Crimean bridge, restored following the terrorist attack, is open on the morning of December 5.
As previously reported, on the morning of October 8, a truck was blown up on the Crimean bridge, which led to the fire of seven fuel tanks following the railway part of the crossing. Because of the explosion, the car spans collapsed, the arch supports were not damaged.
