The traffic warden who was hit by a car driver in Thessaloniki was discharged from the hospital today (9/9).

According to ertnews, splints have been placed on his waist, leg and neck while the trial at Autoforo, where the 55-year-old driver was referred to be tried, was postponed and he was released.

The incident happened on Saturday night (7/9) and the 33-year-old traffic warden ended up in the hospital with fractures.

At the intersection of Lambraki and Katsimidis streets, traffic was stopped due to the inauguration and mobilizations at the TIF. The driver insisted on continuing and is accused of first verbally assaulting and then running over the traffic warden.
