A car driver drove through the city of Salzburg with 2.66 per mille and caused a traffic accident. Two people were injured.
On Thursday morning there was a traffic accident in the Maxglan district of Salzburg, in which a 27-year-old Slovakian and a 66-year-old woman from Flachgau suffered injuries of an unspecified degree. The 27-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle in a right-hand bend and ended up in the oncoming lane. He collided with an oncoming car of a 38-year-old Flachgauer and his passenger. An alcohol test carried out on the 27-year-old was positive – he had a blood alcohol level of 2.66 per mille. His driver’s license was taken away.
An alcohol test carried out on the Flachgauer was negative. Both vehicles were no longer drivable and had to be towed away.
