Traffic: 6 day diversions for car traffic on the ring road to Mariouteya due to its expansion

The General Directorate of Giza Traffic is conducting traffic diversions to implement the development and expansion of the ring road in the Giza governorate, for a period of 6 days, amid the presence of traffic services to follow up the movement of cars to prevent the appearance of any traffic densities for vehicles.

The General Directorate of Giza Traffic will assign the necessary traffic services to meet any expected traffic densities, and manage the traffic, in conjunction with the implementation of the development and expansion works of the ring road in the area between the Autostrad road up to the top of Mariouteya Road and the start of installing the concrete beams in the ring road body in both directions at the top of the street Rabie Al-Jizi and the railway line, which requires a complete closure of Rabie Al-Jizi Street at its intersection with the bottom of the ring road in the direction coming from Giza Square towards Munib Square only.. for a period of (6 days) starting from 12 am on Saturday, corresponding to 2/4/ 2022 until 6 a.m. on Thursday, 7/4/2022, provided that business is available 24 hours throughout the business period.

Traffic diversions will be implemented as follows:

– Vehicle traffic on Rabea Al-Jeezy Street coming from Giza Square and wishing to walk in the direction of Al-Munib Square, you enter before the closure area in the other direction through a new rotation opening on the Central Island, following converting the other direction (coming from Al-Moneeb Square) to two directions and completing the journey with the detour for a distance of (120 meters) ) Then return to the original road towards Munib Square through the turning hole located on the central island following bypassing the closing and works area.

For its part, the Giza Traffic General Administration sets the necessary traffic services and coordinates with the executing company to put in place technical assistance and all equipment indicating the existence of works in the area to ensure the security and safety of citizens.
