The traditional funeral of Mati l’Ohè and the fireworks marked the end of August 15 in Outremeuse in Liège. Like every year, the festivities met with great success with tens of thousands of revelers who walked the streets of Outremeuse.

Fifteen arrests
The number of participants present on Tuesday already exceeded 20,000 people, while on Monday, the police counted the presence of 30,000 revelers. For the day and evening of the 16th, Mati l’Ohè was buried in front of a crowd of between 10 and 12,000 people. An administrative arrest was counted, there was no support at the medical perimeter, specifies the police of Liège.
In total, between August 14 and 16, there were 81 admissions to the medical perimeter and twelve transfers to hospitals, while the police made 13 administrative and three judicial arrests. The results are therefore rather positive!
