“When I arrived in Gilly in 1976, there were two restaurants, two grocery stores, a bakery, a butcher, a dairy and a post office. From now on, there is only the inn and me!” Twelve years following taking over a shop in the heart of the village of 1,500 inhabitants, Monika Delévaux is preparing to retire.
