Vice presidential candidate number 03, Mahfud MD, said he had prepared a number of legal representatives to join the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) lawsuit team at the Constitutional Court (MK). Mahfud said that there were a lot of people who registered. However, not everyone can accompany them at the Constitutional Court.
“Many people have registered from various regions from various lawyer professions. But why is there too much of a crowd, but there are also many, so we will just tell them to come along later if they want to participate,” said Mahfud in Jakarta, Thursday (14/3).
Mahfud explained that the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) had prepared a number of documents and evidence for the lawsuit. They just have to wait for the final results of the vote count to be delivered by the General Election Commission (KPU).
Even though there are two pairs of candidates who will later submit applications to the Constitutional Court, Mahfud believes that the lawsuit material does not have much difference in the two applications submitted.
“The main issues (posed) are the same. Only different places, different numbers. The main issues are allegations of KPU errors in organizing and making decisions,” said Mahfud.
