Toyota recalls over 500,000 vehicles, including the new Lexus LX

Both countries are recalling hybrid Toyota RAV4, hydrogen Mirai, Lexus NX, LX and LS; Land Cruiser 300 and Harrier are added to the list in the Land of the Rising Sun, and Venza, Sienna and Highlander are added to the list in North America. All problem cars were produced in 2020-2022.

Toyota has discovered that the stability control system may fail on the above vehicles – when the vehicle is restarted, the electronic assistant is not active by default. It is especially emphasized that the defect was identified by Toyota itself, and not a single accident was recorded.
