WRC Round 9 Rally Finland, Toyota finishes 1-3
Round 9 of the WRC, Rally Finland, was held over four days from August 3rd to 6th (local time), mainly in Jyväskylä, Finland. At the end of the final day on the 6th, TGR-WRT (TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team) car No. 33 Elfyn Evans/Scott Martin (GR Yaris Rally 1 Hybrid) won the race.
Japanese driver Takamoto Katsuta and Aaron Johnston in car No. 18, who live in Jyväskylä, Finland and call Jyväskylä their second home, took 3rd place on the podium.

Jari-Matti Latvala, who returned from the TGR-WRT representative in his hometown of Finland as it was his 210th WRC round, finished in 5th place. Akio Toyoda, chairman and representative director of Toyota Motor Corporation, who was appointed as a spot representative, expressed his joy with Toyota’s results of 1st, 3rd, and 5th.
