Among the entries in the 24 Hours of Fuji, the Rookie GR Corolla H2 Concept, a car fitted with a hydrogen internal combustion engine (used in liquid form), particularly caught the attention of the president of the ACO, co-president of MissionH24, program in collaboration with GreenGT for the creation of a category dedicated to Hydrogen prototypes at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2026.

On this occasion, Pierre Fillon officially announced that the regulations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans would accept two hydrogen technologies in the future: the fuel cell and the internal combustion engine.

In September 2023, another meeting is already planned in Fuji: the 6th round of the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship, the 6 Hours of Fuji, whose field uses 100% renewable fuel, made from wine residues, without a drop of oil.
