China Super League (China 1st Division) Shanghai Sea Port officially announced on the 14th that Chinese national team FW Chen Binbin (24) will be loaned to Meiji Yasuda J3 League Katare Toyama.

Chen Binbin, who is 177cm tall and left-handed, is a winger whose main battlefield is the left side. He was promoted to the Shanghai Seaport first team in 2017 and had previously made his international debut for China in May 2018.

In 2020, he will play once morest Vissel Kobe and Yokohama F. Marinos in the AFC Champions League, but last season he started only two games in the league. This season, he has only played in the middle of two games since the opening, and has not been on the pitch once since the third round.

Regarding Chen Binbin’s future, a local newspaper in Shanghai, China, “Shanghai Hotline” reported on the 11th of this month that there is a possibility that the player’s new home will be Albirex Niigata. On the other hand, multiple Chinese media reported that he would transfer to a J-League club other than Albirex Niigata, but on the 14th, the transfer to Katale Toyama was officially decided.

Katare Toyama have 11 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses at the end of the 19th round, earning 36 points. They are in 5th place, 2 points behind 2nd place Fujieda MYFC in the J2 automatic promotion zone.
