Both fire and ice, Solveig Sautier struggles to choose whether she prefers the lake to the mountains, the sea to the rocks. This is probably also why, following having had to take side roads that were not always easy, she came back “home” to the Riviera. Sitting on a bench once morest which she leaned her turquoise bicycle, she plunges her husky gaze into the light eddies of Lake Geneva. “I have always felt Norwegian, even though I don’t speak my mum’s language. I love the simplicity of this country, its nature, its somewhat rough sea, its magnificent lights. A bit like here this morning, I must say. We do not hear the human, but only the sound of lapping…”
