Everything is ready for the Gold Cup 2023. This Friday the draw took place, where the Honduran National Team was placed together with Mexico, Haiti and Qatar in group B.
The United States will arrive as the current champion and Qatar will be invited once more, just as it did in 2021 when it reached the semifinals and, for this occasion, will face Mexico in the group stage.

GOLD CUP 2023 SCHEDULE: DATES AND WHEN TO PLAY
The 2023 edition of the gold Cup It begins on June 16 with the preliminary phase and will end with the grand finale on July 16.
Preliminary phase: June 16
Group stage: June 24 to July 4
Quarter finals: July 8 and 9
semifinals: 12th of July

How will the winners of the 2023 Gold Cup preliminaries be defined?
Preliminary Winner 7
It will be defined between the winner of the match between Trinidad and Tobago vs Guadeloupe and the match between Guyana vs Grenada.
Preliminary Winner 8
It will be defined between the winner of the Martinique vs. Saint Lucia match and the match between Suriname vs. Puerto Rico.
Preliminary Winner 9
It will be defined between the winner of the Curaçao vs. St. Kitts and Nevis match and the match between French Guyana vs. St. Martin.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
After the group stage, the first and second places in each group (eight teams) will advance to a knockout stage. In other words, there will be the quarterfinals, to be played on July 8 and 9, the semifinals on July 12, and the final at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, July 16.
