“Tourists injured in Taba”, what happens –

Mystery surrounding a possible attack in Egypt. “Several tourists were involved in an incident in Taba”, near the border with Israel, “where several people were stabbed”. This is what the Egyptian all-news channel Al-Qahera reports, citing a “high-level” Egyptian source, without providing further details, not even on the nationality of the people involved. Shortly after, the broadcaster downplayed the incident and citing “eyewitnesses” stated that “it was a fight between a hotel worker and 4 tourists” with a toll of 4 injured, including three Arab Israelis. According to the source, “three tourists were injured” and “the worker was also injured” and is in “very serious conditions”.

Different news is reported by the Israeli daily Jerusalem Post which refers to a “possible attack”: there are 6 injured while police and security forces converge in the area. Videos appear on X that would document the episode in the tourist resort: some videos show clear traces of blood near a building and inside the hall of a hotel.
