Tourist attractions in Oman have been closed heavy rain tourism places in Oman closed

Muscat: The Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has decided to temporarily close tourist centers in Oman due to heavy rains. The decision has been taken in view of the continuous reports of accidents including death and people’s indifference to warnings and instructions. More than six people have died in accidents at beaches and other places in recent days. The authorities had earlier warned not to go to the sea and beaches etc. However, regardless of this, many people come to such places on the occasion of the festival.

Meanwhile, heavy rain fell in different parts of Oman last day. Plaintiffs flooded in. Low-lying areas in the interior villages are under water due to continuous rains. In some places, the roads were flooded. Roads have been damaged by the plaintiffs. Dakhiliya, Dahira and South Bathana governorates received heavy rain on Sunday.
