The Tourism Police Department of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations at Dubai Police organized an awareness lecture for the employees of the Atlantis Palm Jumeirah Resort and Hotel, in partnership with the Department of Economy and Tourism, and in cooperation with the internal partners of the Dubai Police.
Lieutenant-Colonel Musa Mubarak, Acting Director of the Tourism Police Department, said that the awareness lecture comes as a continuation of the department’s efforts to promote a safe tourist environment for tourists and visitors in the emirate, in cooperation with partners in the government and private sectors, through the tourism awareness program that supports the Tourism Knowledge Initiative, from which lectures were launched. To employees of hotels and resorts in Dubai, to raise awareness of ways to deal with and provide assistance to tourists and visitors in the emirate, and to guide them to the services of the Dubai Smart Police, which supports the achievement of the strategic directions of Dubai Police in making society happy and providing a safe tourist environment.
The lecture covered all sections and sectors of the hotel, and included hotel registration controls and procedures, laws and regulations related to hotel services, raising awareness of the role of the tourist police and local laws, providing advice and instructions to be followed in dealing with tourists in the Emirate of Dubai, and others.
