Tour de Martinique in round skiffs 2022: victory for Rosette / Orange Caraïbe at Robert

The first stage of the Tour de Martinique of the round skiffs is won by the crew of the Rosette / Orange Caraïbe skiff in Robert Bay. Rosette takes the lead in the general classification.

The skiffs, Rosette / Orange Caraïbe and Sara / Autodistribution, got off to an ideal start as soon as the departure was given at 10.05 am from Vauclin. On the other hand, Ufr / Chanflor is hampered by a competitor and concedes a relatively large delay compared to the two leading skiffs.

As they passed the first buoy, Rosette Orange Caraïbe was leading well ahead of Sara / Autodistribution and in 3rd position Ufr / Chanflor, which came out of the peloton.

The trio presented themselves in the same order as they passed the second buoy at Islet Madame.

After 1h 57 of racing, the third buoy does not change the classification, the three skiffs evolve with a regular wind but which gradually weakens.

The fourth buoy was passed first by Rosette Orange Caraïbe, which won on arrival in Robert Bay.
