The 7th stage of the Tour de la Martinique, Le François/Ducos of 135.36 km ended with the Martinican victory of Sonny Cadet and the good operation of Dilhan Will who will re-don the yellow jersey, lost the day before, in favor of Guillaume Guaboriau.

For this seventh stage, the supporters of Dilhan Will expected him to recover a yellow jersey already worn on 3 stages. They were not disappointed because despite the strong adversity and a technical incident halfway through the race, the 23-year-old cyclist showed his enormous potential as a very sharp leader both physically and mentally.
Well helped by his teammate Myron Stanis over the first 40 km and despite a broken chain just before Mont Galochat, the leader of the Guyana selection had to press very hard on the pedal, drawing deep within himself, to get back into the leading pack and finish the race in 6th place.
A new exploit which allows him to recover the yellow jersey and to obtain in the general classification a lead of 1’16 minute in front of the second, the Martiniquais Cadet Marti and the third Urcel Damien at 1’23 minute.
Dilhan also holds the combined general green jersey which is entrusted to second Damien Urcel of the Guadeloupe selection.
Tomorrow, for the 8th stage, Dilhan Will will play a new Martinican card. Everything is still possible because the exercise once morest the clock is one of its strengths.
