Since June 29, the Tour de France has crisscrossed the roads of Italy and France. Upon arrival in Nice on July 21, the winner of the yellow jersey will receive a check of considerable value. But what are the rewards for runners?
Tour de France cyclists’ compensation
The bonus system rewards runners based on their ranking. In addition to the final overall classification, the results of each stage must be considered. The top 20 in each day’s race receive rewards, but a track difficulty bonus must also be added.
