For health reasons, Laurent Luyat will not be able to cover the Tour de France until the end of this year. The France Télévisions presenter wrote on Twitter that he was “sorry”. “It’s never happened to me, it’s funny.”
The journalist was the head of the show Bike Clubbroadcast on France 2 following each Tour de France race.
“Thank you a thousand times for all your messages. The sadness at the airport, to also leave this magnificent team. But nothing serious, that’s the main thing. A few days of rest and it will be better”, then reassured the presenter on Twitter.
Laurent Luyat should be back on the air on August 11, for the European Championships, an omnisports competition which will take place in Munich.
