Panic on board at Jumbo-Visma this Sunday on the 15th stage between Rodez and Carcassonne. After the abandonment of Primoz Roglic before the start of the stage, the yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard lost another teammate. Steven Kruijswijk was evacuated by ambulance following a fall 64 kilometers from the finish. The Dutchman tapped his shoulder very hard in a collision which also saw Wout van Aert dismount.
Seven kilometers further, it is the yellow jersey in person who has tested the asphalt. Vingegaard fell in the middle of the peloton along with Tiesj Benoot. Although the Dane was able to get back on the wheels of the peloton fairly quickly thanks to the help of his teammates, Benoot seemed more affected by the fall and was unable to join the main group.
