get to know you EIGHT, A limited edition capsule collection, a collaboration between Zucker and myself.
We took the trial tougher than the rest (taken from the most beautiful love song of all time by Bruce Springsteen) and we translated it into a collection of eight items that came into the world to be worn on a daily basis.
me andEinav Zucker We’ve known each other for years, but I think the official affair started in 2011, when I traveled on behalf of Yedioth Ahronoth to accompany Niran Avisher, the Israeli candidate in the Diesel ITS competition in Trieste, Italy. Einav was there as the guest of honor on the basis of who was the first winner of the competition (2003).
Spoiler: Niran Avisher also won.
For those who are not familiar enough with Einav and what she does, I will tell you that she graduated from Shenkar with honors, that following winning she became one of Diesel’s designers and later founded together with her sister Hadas Ross Obata. In the last decade it has been known as ZUCKER, a local brand that focuses on LUXURY BASIC, that is: meticulous and timeless design, uncompromising quality and the kind of items I like: essential and not decorative. Those who come to work. Tougher than evening dresses or a trendy neon jacket.
About a year ago, we decided to design and produce together a small collection of items that we both think are essential, but that will come up to my size (46), a size that does not usually exist in Zucker.
Einav says: “For several years now, there has been a demand to increase ZUCKER’s size range, and Shelley is, for me, the most accurate partner for the launch of this exciting line. Together, we refined and refined 8 key items that will fit a wide size range that starts at size 36 and goes up to size 46.”

And somehow, following a lot of work, it happened:
We got dressed, gathered friends and went to take pictures in a beautiful place.

Details behind the scenes:
For the location of the photographs we chose Gordon Gallery And as photographed, women who are essential to our lives were chosen: Ilit Minmara fashion journalist and a woman I am addicted to her travel photos, Kinneret Rosenbluma friend, writer and organizational consultant, whose new book “Bnei Tovim” is out in stores right now (and will also star in the sale we are having. All the details soon), andNoi Ben Britan Eshkolot woman who is also an actress, a singer and a model.
Orit Panini took a picture andbeam waves She commanded the makeup and hair, and as Kinneret concluded at the end of that day: We created a super group for ourselves for one day.
By the way Super Group: The labels were designed by YPith Mizrachi And they are so beautiful that I plan to frame them.

Very pleasant, it’s the eighth:
What’s in the collection?
Eight items that work with each other, with the rest of Zucker’s collection and with everything you have in your closet:
01 A denim shirt that can also function as a jacket (pay attention to the back: there’s a real origami event going on there).
02 A white pin-striped button-down shirt that can look the most formal and the most casual (I call it: the shirt that got compliments at Buck Mason’s Fifth Avenue branch).
03 An extremely soft t-shirt in two shades of elange (American gray and coffee).
04 Jeans made of 100% cotton, soft like the jeans you had in the nineties, with a high cut and with a cut end and a little asymmetry.
05 Soft comfortable pants in olive or stone colors with huge front pockets (and rubber on the sides and back, they didn’t get that name for nothing).
06 Zucker’s classic trench.
07 Bandanas made of 100% cotton are always hard to find (blue/brown/white).
08 A large canvas cotton bag in brown or cream (rumor has it that designer bags are dead and this is the great hour of canvas bags).

Everything went up on the website, and at the end of the week we will have a launch event where we can measure ourselves, wish us good luck and buy fun gifts for the holiday:
Besides our joint collection, Zucker’s spring collection will also be on sale and there will also be:
– shoppu with Japanese candles and incense (especially loved: cotton, linen, silk and wool scented candles).
– matcha ready with real traditional Japanese matcha and ready-to-drink matcha – for those who don’t want to develop a skill.
– nunis flowers will arrive with bouquets and spring flowers for the weekend.
– and on Thursday evening (around six) Kinneret Rosenblum Come and sign her new book, My Sons, which has already managed to become an Instagram celeb and which I bet is going to be a popular gift for this year’s holiday. For those who somehow haven’t come across it, I will tell you that the book tells the story of a fictional and multi-branched Israeli family that founded one of the largest companies in the economy while making sure to have lavish family meals and living in a shared property (this is my dream, although it is quite possible that the book rewarded me from it). Everything, of course, converges to a crisis, but along the way we get a glimpse of plenty of family and business dynamics (this is how it is when the writer is also a business consultant). There were those who called him the Israeli “heirs”, and I am already interested in being on the Hart teams that will resurrect the houses, the offices, the greenhouse on the roof, the wardrobes and the yacht when the book gets the television adaptation it deserves.

And it’s a thin, thin line
