Some videos that appear on social media touch us a lot. A similar video surfaced on social media yesterday. Although this video was from Texas, USA, social media users from all over the world agreed that it was a heart-wrenching sight. That’s right, such a sight was presented by the video, the video was only a few seconds long and there was so much goodness hidden in it that one would watch it once more and once more.
In this video, a 95-year-old man from Texas, USA, was helped by a group of firefighters to clear the forested lawn in front of his house. The Austin Fire Department itself posted this video on Twitter, which won the applause of social media users. ‘Our E6/C-shift crew passed by this house yesterday and saw the 95 year old resident struggling to mow his lawn. We stopped there and thought we would return following helping him. Help, no matter how big or small, is regarding giving when it’s needed. Kudos to his dear colleagues who helped him.’ The Austin Fire Department posted the video with the caption.
The video shows an elderly man and another firefighter standing nearby watching as a firefighter clears an overgrown lawn. The elderly man is also seen talking to the firefighters.
Our E6/C-shift crew passed this house yesterday and saw the 95YO resident struggling to mow his lawn. They stopped the unit to give him a hand; FF Rivas made quick work of the hilly front yard. Kudos to them for serving those in need, no matter what that need may be!
