Tottenham Hotspur coach, Ange Postecoglou, praised Son Heung-Min’s performance in the English Premier League match once morest Luton Town. The match ended 2-1 in favor of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Lilywhites were lagging behind the visitors. Tahith Chong scored a quick goal in the third minute and put Luton ahead. The equalizer for Tottenham was only created in the 51st minute thanks to Issa Kaboré’s own suicide.
In the 86th minute from Timo Werner’s cross, Son created a goal and ensured victory for Tottenham. 2-1 for Tottenham. Tottenham Hotspur vs Luton Town ended 2-1.
Postecoglou also praised Son for his performance in that match. The reason is, Son is still able to perform optimally even though he has just defended his country in the 2026 World Cup Qualification event.
Even though he was tired, continued Postecoglou, Son was still able to talk a lot and even scored the winning goal.
“I’m sure he feels tired. Of course. It’s difficult. When I was coach of the Australian national team, we had quite a lot of players playing in this part of the world,” said Postecoglou.

“It was a long journey, there was a time difference but as I said before, he was never looking for that grip, Sonny. For him when he was available, he wanted to play at the highest level possible and he continues to do that,” he added.
The goal was Son’s 15th of the season. That took him past 1961 double winner Cliff Jones and into fifth place on Tottenham’s all-time top scorers list with 160 goals.
But more importantly for Postecoglou, the goal keeps Tottenham in the hunt to qualify for next season’s Champions League by finishing in the top four.
“Look, he has been a brilliant footballer for this club for a long time and hopefully for many years to come,” he concluded. (AFP/Z-11)
