TotalEnergies will cap diesel and gasoline at 1.99 euros until the end of the year in its French stations

The liter of gasoline and diesel will be capped at 1.99 euros this year in the network of some 3,400 TotalEnergies service stations in France, announced Wednesday, February 22, the CEO of the group Patrick Pouyanné at 20 Hours of TF1 .

“The measure we are announcing is that in all TotalEnergies stations in 2023, diesel and gasoline will not exceed 1 euro 99”said Mr. Pouyanné, who was under pressure from the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron to make a ” gesture “.

The measure will be effective from 1is March and until the end of the year. It will even apply from this weekend in the group’s motorway stations.

This promise will be valid on all petrol and diesel fuels (Diesel Premier B7, Diesel Premier B10, SP95-E10, SP95-E5, Superethanol E85), except unleaded 98 and Excellium premium diesel.
