Tostem, part of PT Lixil Aluminium Indonesia, supports carbon emission reduction efforts by releasing PremiAL R100. It is a 100% recycled aluminium profile.
“We are taking steps to formulate the contribution we can give to the environment for the next 100 years. Therefore, we launched PremiAL R100 which is a 100% recycled aluminum profile,” said Asia Region Marketing Leader from Lixil Housing Technology Asia, Hiro Morokuma as reported in an official statement, Saturday (31/8).
The launch of PremiAL R100 is Tostem’s first step towards a sustainable economy. Morokuma explained that the use of PremiAL R100 products can reduce 80% of carbon emissions compared to using profiles processed from new trunks.
“We understand that the construction sector contributes 37% of global carbon emissions. By using this product, we can make a significant contribution to environmental sustainability,” he said.
Tostem ensures that without compromising on quality, function and aesthetics, products that implement PremiAL R100 material can become design elements in residential designs that prioritize sustainability.
The launch of the PremiAL R100 also took place at the IndoBuildTech 2024 exhibition which took place on August 7-11 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, Banten.

At the exhibition, Tostem is present with an environmentally friendly pavilion with various new products.

With this award, Tostem continues to be committed to becoming an industry leader and continues to initiate the latest innovations in aluminum doors and windows.
